If socialism "doesn't work", USA, UK, and other bourgeois powers would have simply laughed, popped open another beer, went back to watching the game, and waited for it to fail. But instead, for 100+ years, they have used every conceivable resource and strategy, every weapon in their arsenal, everything at their disposal, at the expense of the wellbeing of their citizens, to try to suppress, strangle, destroy socialism where ever it has blossomed. If "socialism doesn't work", the USA and its allies would not have gotten up from the couch, opened up another bud-lite, had a good laugh, and went back to watching the game. But instead, they used every resource and strategy, everything at their disposal, every weapon in their arsenel, to try to stop the spread of socialism everywhere. Instead, the bourgeois powers unleashed overwhelming and ceaseless economic violence, political violence, and military violence against the USSR, Cuba, North Korea, China, etc, while funding extremists and death squads to mass murder socialists.
